COVID-19 and the Female Employment Crisis

In September 2020, over 1.1 million people left the US work force. Eighty percent of them were women. As COVID-19 plunges the US economy into its first female recession, in this episode of EconoFact Explains, we look at a few reasons the crisis has disproportionately affected women, and whether it is likely to leave lasting scars on female labor force participation.
